Kristina Smeriglio is fascinated by the human experience and the roles of the mind and the heart. This fascination with the psyche and range of emotions one can experience is a theme that runs through her work, particularly as they evolve and are affected by one’s environment. She spends much of her time in deep thought as she wonders about our existence and that integral question “Why are we here?” In her Master’s Thesis, which she is currently adapting into a novel, she explores such questions, and many others, as she immerses herself in Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights.

Having achieved her Master's Degree in Writing from Nova Southeastern University, Kristina has gained the knowledge and experience needed to not only communicate her story but the stories of others as well. For instance, she was a ghostwriter for a metaphysical book that aimed at presenting the reader with the opportunity to analyze and question themselves, their world, their beliefs and their worldview. She also worked as part of a team that developed a professional certification course in which she was an integral part of the creation of its training manual and other related documents.
